Jeanne Purswell Stark 

(b. 7-28-1940 - - d. 9-4-2016)

Elizabeth Jeanne Stark, 76, of Baytown passed away Sunday September 4, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Ruth Purswell of Odessa, Texas. She is survived by son Ty, of Aberdeen, MD, and son, Byron and wife Shelley, of Baytown and her grandchildren, Keats, Victoria, and Kamdyn.  

Jeanne, as she was called by all friends and family, was a Christian, grandmother, mother, teacher, and traveler. She was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church and was a member of the Order of the Daughters of the King. She was a woman of grace and dignity and had a kind word for all she knew. She loved teaching and working with children and taught math at the secondary education level at Highlands Junior and Sterling High Schools in the Goose Creek Independent School District. In later life, she traveled the world often friends and family from the area. She had a bright spark and a contagious smile that made all who knew her smile.

There will be a Celebration of Life service, followed by a reception, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 5010 N. Main St., Baytown, TX 77521, Friday, 9 September at 6:30 PM. All friends and family are invited to attend.
