ODESSA, TX - Sandra Lee Wakefield passed peacefully on Saturday, August 7, 2021 in Odessa, TX. She was born on Monday, August 12, 1940 in Pecos, TX to Finley and Mattie Stephens.

Sandra was an entrepreneur in life and had various businesses that she owned and ran over the years such as a frame shop for about 7 years, Stephens dry cleaning that she took over for her uncle that was well known in Odessa and even was a realtor and owned several apartment buildings. In life, she was an artist and avid painter. She even loved her puppies and adored the children. When she was not working on her hobbies, she loved to travel anywhere that she could, often times meeting people from all walks of life; she knew no stranger. Sandra was a wonderful, wife and mother and grew up with her children learning life together. She will be dearly missed by all those that loved and knew her. 

Those left to cherish her memories is her husband, Charles Wakefield of Odessa, TX; Son, Jimmy Leon Couch (Yolanda) of Willis, TX; Daughter, Sister, Donna of Kentucky; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and several family and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; Finley and Mattie Stephens and her two sons; Charles Toby Couch and Mark Finley Stephens. 

A Graveside service will be held Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, TX. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel in Odessa, TX.
