COMMENT FROM WAYNE WEAVER, 7/11/2012:

Sad  to look at my other brother Wayne's picture and see nothing about his life.  I'll share what I know of his life & accomplishments.  Wayne married Kay in Dallas, date unknown.  He was lead electrician at the Ford Motor Company plant for numerous years. Of his union with Kay they had a son Matt, daughter Becky & Kay had a son from previous marriage that Wayne adopted. During this period of time they lived in Garland.  He left Ford & started Story Electric in Waxahachie, where the family resided during the kids school years. I visited he & Kay in the mid 1980's and at that time he had 9 crews working everyday. When the supercolider was to be built in Waxahachie, Wayne and several more contractors received the bid for the electrical. He had his first heart attack shortly after. He worked around the office as much as he could but the pace was too much so he retired, turning the business over to his oldest son. After a lot of struggles the business failed. Kay & Wayne had moved back to Dallas and were caretakers for Kays uncles estate. His beloved Kay was struck with lung cancer and by the grace of God He called her home rapidly. She was a beautiful lady. They shared a wonderful life filled with love. I attended the funeral as part of the family & Wayne & I moved to Cedar Creek Lake. My stay was short lived but Wayne stayed and bought a night club. He started having one stroke after another and finally was called home. As I said earlier he was a friend & brother.

If my memory serves me correct Wayne passed around Thanksgiving in 1999. We were in the Marine Corps together in the late 50's & early 60's and while stationed at Camp Pendleton had many memorable trips both north and south of the border. Wayne was married to a beautiful lady named Kay and they had three children. Kay passed of lung cancer leaving Wayne very lonely. He worshipped her. We were friends from the 9th grade on, when I moved to Odessa. Better friends than he and Drew are rare in the world. I consider my self priviledged to have shared life with both of them. "Wayne was an amazing Man. I met him at Cedar Creek Lake. He always called me Tessie from Odessie. He and Brutus found me at a very Dark time of my life, but he helped me find the Sunshine again and always believed in me. He is and will always be My Earth and Heavenly Angel.

Wayne, you are missed."
