Carla Jean Gaskill Waddell, OHS 1958
 

Carla Jean Gaskill Waddell, 81, passed from this life on Sunday, January 30, 2022 in Odessa Texas. She was born on Sunday, September 29, 1940 in Fort Worth Texas to late Catherine and J.C. Gaskill.

Carla was a wonderful mom and wife to Leonard Waddell for 17 years. She loved kids and worked with children most of her life. Carla loved to do word puzzles of any kind and Sudoku. She was a big fan of OHS Bronchos  and Dallas Cowboys. She loved to travel and she enjoyed giving her son in law, Mike fits. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory are son; James Waddell and Fern of Wellington Texas, daughter; Mollie Christesson and Mike of Odessa Texas, brother; Doug Gaskill and Shirley of Texarkana, Texas, grandchildren; Michael Christesson Jr, and Leah, Jesse Christesson and Amanda, Cathy Christesson, JJ Christesson, and Peter Christesson, great grandchildren; Taylor, Easton, Jaxon, Luke, Kate, Landon, Zaylor and Drew.

Carla is preceded in death by her husband; Leonard Waddell, parents; Catherine and J.C. Gaskill, and brother; Sonny Gaskill.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Acres West Funeral Chapel.
