Bill D. Puckett, 70, of Lacy-Lakeview, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, at a local hospital. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
Bill was born Oct. 9, 1941, in Gilmer, Texas, to Billy Cleveland and Alice Janie (McCurry) Puckett. He was a member of the Robinson Bass Club and was a past employee of Service Tool International. Bill loved to fish and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Puckett of Lacy-Lakeview; daughter, Kristi Carrillo and husband, Mike, of California; son, Cody Puckett of Lacy-Lakeview; two grandchildren, Avril and Michael; and several nieces and nephews.
