I enjoy the past 50 year posts. So--Here I go: I probably got all my money's worth out of the ECISD. We moved to Odessa in 1948. I went to the 1st Grade in Longview, Texas. 2nd grade, Fannin, 3rd & 4th, Alamo, 5th & 6th, San Jacinto, 7th Bowie, 8th & 9th Bonham, 10th & 11th OHS & 12th PHS (1960). BBA Texas Tech-1965.

Went to work for Mobil Oil Co. out of Tech in 5 years they transferred me from Lubbock to Dallas, to LA to Shreveport to Victoria where upon I said "take this job & shove it".

In 1970 I started my own commercial real estate appraisal firm in Dallas. Got my MAI designation in 1977 grew my company, at one time, to 35 appraisers; appraising commercial properties all over the US, Canada, Caribbean & Mexico. Still at it for 39 years.

Married Sharon Shipley, OHS 61, married 23 years, 2 daughters, divorced in 1986. Married Cheryl Chaney, from Miami-BS Auburn University-1975, in 1989 in a castle in Salzburg, Austria. Ronnie Sperberg & Harry Brownlee came over for our wedding. Cheryl & I celebrated our 20th last April.

We have lived in McKinney, Texas for 18 years. Have a condo on South Padre Island for 15 years, that's where we hide out.

Flew myself all over North America for 25 years, little less than a 1,000 hrs., flying time. Started out in a Piper Tri-pacer, bought and sold 9 airplanes over the years and ended up with a King Air E-90.

Like George (Stallings), we have traveled all over the world except the far east. We went to Machu Picchu in Peru last year, and off to Alaska in September.

Larry Tatum, myself, Ronnie Sperberg, Harry Brownlee & Tommy Scott meet for lunch every month in Plano and talk about all the girls we wished we had have dated???? We have lunch this coming Tuesday 6/30. Send some news and I will report. I will take our pic and foward it on---if I can fiqure out how to work my new IPhone. I will update more later.
