Ann Taylor Tayrien, OHS 1957, (b 9-15-1938; d 4-3-2013)

 

GODLEY, TX.   A Memorial service for Ann Taylor Tayrien, 74, of Godley, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 8, 2013, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Dr. Robert H. Herzig will officiate.

Ann Tayrien passed away peacefully into the arms of her Savior on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at her home with her family by her side. She was born September 15, 1938, in Hobbs, New Mexico. Ann was the daughter of the late James Frank Taylor and Helen Bernice O'Neal Taylor of Odessa. She attended and graduated from Odessa High School with continuing education at Texas Tech University. On August 15, 1958, she was united in marriage to William Joseph "Jack" Tayrien (OHS 1957).

She is survived by her husband, Jack; her two daughters, Shawn Martin and her husband Bruce, Leslea Swanson and her husband David; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Taylor.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all of the doctors who cared for Ann over the years and to the nurses and staff of Community Hospice for all of their loving care and support. Along with a special thank you for the attention and care she received from her nurse, Bob Drapiza.
