Sandra Lee Trippet (Maxwell) age 81, died on Sunday, January 15, 2023. She was born to Thella Mae "Cherry" Kilgo and Voorhees "Trip" Trippet in Odessa, Texas on April 26, 1941. She graduated with the Class of 1959 from Odessa High School and stayed in touch with numerous "Broncho" friends throughout her life. Sandra had a 35-year career at U.S. Steel before going to work alongside her husband Perry Maxwell at Koelling and Associates, Inc. until retirement. Sandra loved traveling, dining with friends, working crossword puzzles, and watching the Dallas Cowboys. She was on the Irving Lyric Stage board and was a loyal member of the Las Colinas Country Club Thirsty Thursday's group. Sandra will be remembered for being a loving wife, stepmother, aunt, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Terry Trippet, and husband of 31 years Perry C. Maxwell. Sandra is survived by her beloved dog Daisy, her stepdaughters Melinda Maxwell Beane (Clif) and Stacey Nardi (David), her grandchildren Alex Beane, Michela Nardi, Madison Nardi, Maxwell Nardi, and Miles Nardi, sister-in-law Debby Trippet, nephew Tripper Trippet (Natalie), niece Taylor Trippet Simmons (Doug), and 4 precious great nieces. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sandra's loving devoted neighbors Mr. George and Dr. Sharon Bakos. The family will receive friends between 3:00 and 5:00pm Friday, January 20, 2023, at Merit Memorial, 12801 N. Stemmons Fwy, Ste 801, Farmers Branch. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, January 21, 2023, at T. Boone Pickens' Faith Presbyterian Hospice Chapel, 12477 Merit Drive, Dallas. Burial will follow at 2:30pm at Pioneer Cemetery in Graham, Texas. Colorful attire is welcomed at the Celebration of Sandra's Life. The family requests that you think of Sandra whenever you see beautiful flowers as that was one of her languages of love.
