COLLEGE STATION: LouRene Donaldson Barron, 75, of College Station, TX, went to be with our Lord on September 9, 2015. Family will be honored for you to join them for a celebration service at 3PM on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Hillier Funeral Home College Station. 

LouRene was born on September 14, 1939 to J.O. and Norene Donaldson in Monahans, TX. She graduated from Odessa High School in Odessa, TX in 1957, and later attended Sul Ross State University and received a Bachelor in Art.

LouRene was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. She had a passion for cooking, gardening, nature, travel, and was a very talented artist. Everyone was welcome in her home and made to feel like family. LouRene was a beautiful Christian who loved to study her bible and loved the Lord. She was a generous giver with a beautiful heart and known to many as Nana and Momma Lou. 

She is preceded in death by her father, mother, sister, and brother.
