Charles Gordon Adams, OHS 1959

ODESSA Charles Gordon Adams, 62, of Odessa passed away June 20, 2003,
   at Medical Center Hospital. He was born on August 8, 1940, in Roscoe,
   Texas, to Carl and Luella House.
   Charles came to Odessa in 1948 from Sweetwater. He was a life long
   resident of Odessa and attended First Baptist Church. He married
   Sidney Short in Houghton, Kan., on February 17, 1966. Charlie loved
   being around people and he never met a stranger. He was a member of
   T-Twister Motorcycle club and really enjoyed racecars. He lived as
   though there was no tomorrow. Always taking life to its fullest.
   Charlie, you will be missed greatly.
   Services will be held on June 24, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial
   Chapel with Rev Bill Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset
   Memorial Gardens.
   He is survived by his wife, Sidney Adams of Odessa; sons, Tommy Lee
   Adams and wife, Linda, of Odessa and Bobby Charles Adams of Odessa:
   daughter, LaCresha Michelle Adams and husband, Raymond Knapp, of
   Odessa; parents, Carl and Luella House of Odessa; grandchildren, Casey
   Nance, Natasha Adams, Matthew Jones, Jessica Knapp, Jordan Knapp,
   Tyler Adams and several nieces and nephews; aunt, Betty Smith of
   Odessa; aunt and uncle, Robert and Vera Headrick of Sweetwater.
   Services are entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
