JUDY CAROL CLEMENT MAPP JONES, OHS 1958

(b 5-16-1940; d 5-7-2020) 

It is with great sadness that that the family of longtime Odessa resident, Judy Carol (Mapp) Jones, announces her passing at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at the age of 79. She was born in Seagraves, TX on May 16, 1940 to the late John Pierce Clement Sr. and Nettie Mae (Spraggins) Clement.  
Judy was a wonderful mother and Grandma Pumpkin who loved to watch Saturday morning cartoons with her great-great grandson. Her interests included needlepoint, crafting, and butterflies. She loved to travel and watch Judge Judy on television.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Dick Mapp, son: Joe Mapp, brother: John P. Clement Jr., sister: Evelyn Clement, Ellis Clement and niece: Donna K. Salmon.
Those left to cherish her love and memory are her sons: Bill, John, and Robert; sister: Janet; seven grandchildren: William, Kami, Sarah, Krystal, John Philip, Mikala, and Michael; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
Memorial services will be held later this year once gatherings are not so restricted. The family will notify friends when services have been set. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West and condolences to the family may be sent online at acreswestfuneral.com.
