Tiananmen Square, Beijing. Remember the News Pictures from years ago showing the Chinese student poised in front of and stopping the line of Chinese military tanks? The Forbidden City is also located adjacent to this Square. (2009)

Joyce and I before climbing this section of the Great Wall outside Beijing. We quit after climbing about 1500 to 2000 steps and only getting to about 75% of the way to the top Tower (Top Right of Picture). We were exhausted but the views were fantastic! Joyce considered this much more difficult than the Sidney, Australia Harbor Bridge Climb! Joyce learned what "Shin Splints" are! (2009)
