Judie Tripp Gibson Paris, OHS'59

Judie Tripp Gibson Paris, age 76, of Midland, TX passed away on April 1, 2018 in Waskom, TX.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Friday, April 6, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Ivy Shelton of First Baptist Church Waskom officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Judie was born in November 8, 1941 to Viola Maddux and Earl Bates Tripp in Odessa, TX. She graduated from Odessa High School and UTPB. She married Frederick Gibson in June 1959 in Odessa. Frederick passed away in 2001. She married Tex Paris December 2003. Judie taught school in Odessa and was a member of First Christian Church in Odessa and attended Sunday school at First Baptist of Midland.

Judie is preceded in death by her parents, Viola and Earl Tripp, and her first husband, Frederick.

Judie is survived by her loving husband, Tex Paris; son, Dean Gibson and wife, Rhonda of Brady, TX; daughter, Beth Ann Kelm and husband, Chris of San Antonio, TX; sister, Earlene Smith; grandchildren, Sarah Hrebicek and husband, Paul, Brittany, Zachary and Cooper Kelm, and Levi Gibson; step grandchildren, Hannah and Aaron Helm, Nathan, Andrew and Daniel Shelton; step daughters, April Paris, Aimee Shelton, Amanda Helm and great grandson, Rivers Hrebicek.

Pallbearers will be Zach and Cooper Kelm, Nathan, Andrew and Daniel Shelton and Aaron Helm.

Memorials may be given in Judie’s name to Gideon’s International Bible Distribution.
