Billy's life was marked by his dedication to his family and his unwavering love for his wife, Joyce. He was a devoted husband, having married Joyce Lynell Womble on June 22, 1963, in Odessa, Texas. Together, they built a life filled with love and cherished memories.

In his professional life, Billy served with pride and commitment in the Texas Highway Department from 1963 to 1993, where he dedicated years of service before retiring. His work ethic and integrity were evident in all that he did, earning him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

A man of many talents and interests, Billy's passion for high school football was unmatched.
